At Codaisseur, our mission is to close the skill gap in the tech industry and create durable careers by (re)training people so they are equipped to do the work the world needs – now and in the future.

We want to make education accessible to all and we work towards this by offering job-guarantee programs and by partnering with organizations to provide free IT education, such as the Work in Tech course.

In addition to these efforts, we're excited to share more opportunities for getting funding for your education.

In 2022, the Dutch government has begun allocating individual education grants of up to €1.000,- per year for training and development called the STAP-budget. While the budget is limited and released in specific time windows, we want to help career-switchers or skill-builders get access to this funding while training at our Academy.

What is the STAP-budget?

STAP-budget stands for StimuleringArbeidsmarktPositie (Stimulation of the Labor Market Position). You can apply for the STAP-budget to finance your training at our Academy. It's possible to pre-register here. The budget is a maximum of €1.000,- per year (incl. VAT). If the costs of the course are more than €1.000,-, you pay the remaining costs yourself. You also do not have to pay for any costs in advance (pre-financing).

On May 1st 2022, another batch of grants will be released. You may apply for the STAP-budget, once a year, at the UWV for training and development, in order to gain a stronger position in the job market.
