Starting a new career can be a big challenge but there are also a lot of benefits to gain. If you’re interested in starting a career in tech, you can look forward to more job opportunities and benefits such as work flexibility and a high salary. But before jumping ahead to apply for that first developer role, you’ll want to find the best way to succeed. You may wonder, where do I begin and how quickly can I begin a new job as a developer?

While there are many ways to start a new career in software development, there’s only one that guarantees you a job in just 10 weeks. This sounds great of course, but you’ll need to know a few things before getting started:

Learning how to code

The first step to becoming a successful software developer is to learn how to code. Coding bootcamps can be expensive but are often intensive, so you’ll learn a lot in a short amount of time. This means you’ll be ready to start your new career earlier and you’ll spend less time in the initial learning phase while unemployed. Efficiency FTW!

One of the main differences between learning how to code at a coding bootcamp and learning at a university is the speed of the course.

Think of a coding bootcamp as a sprint and a university degree as a marathon.

In a coding bootcamp, you’ll need to be prepared to learn at a quick pace and focus entirely on your training.

What does a coding education in Full-Stack Web Development look like? Well, it starts with Javascript, HTML, CSS - sound familiar? If this is your first time reading these words, don’t worry, you’ll get to know these languages very well and be able to build your first website within the first week of the Coding Academy at Codaisseur, which takes just 10 weeks to complete and offers job guarantee.

Succeeding in the Academy

Yes, you can make it through just 10 weeks of training to be ready to start a new career. What do these 10 weeks look like? The first week of the Full-Stack Web Development Academy is the Admissions Training Camp (ATC). This week determines your success for the rest of the training so students must pass this week in order to be eligible for a job guarantee.

As the Academy is intensive, you’ll be fully immersed in the training for 10 weeks full-time. You may view the Academy curriculum and schedule on our website. Don’t hesitate to contact us or register for our free event at the bottom of this page to learn more.

Applying for your first developer job

The last week of the Academy is the Career Accelerator week. This is where all your hard work pays off and you’ll be prepared to meet your possible future employers. At this time you may feel pretty tired and ready to take a break from all the screen time, but it’s important for you to complete this final step of the training.

The Career Accelerator will give you the skills you’ll need to succeed in your career, in addition to coding. Most employers look for developers with a positive attitude and other soft skills. Our Career Advisor offers workshops during this week designed to help you hone your soft skills and prepare you for job interviews. You may also join our hiring events to meet employers through a series of “speed-dating.”

During the job search period, you’ll be busy with tech assignments and interviews. There will be new challenges to face but it’ll all be worth it, when you finally receive your dream job offer. While our students receive job offers within 30 days on average, our network of hiring partners are eager to hire new tech talents.
